The rental company charged me an extra fee. It was not possible to find out at the return counter, so I contacted the company through which I made the reservation. After some time, they explained to me that it was a fine for non-observance of traffic rules. The first days I traveled a lot and maybe I didn't quite figure out what's what, so I don't exclude that I could have broken it somewhere.
