Paris Orly Airport is the second largest airport in the French capital, located in the eponymous commune, 14 km from the city. Unlike Charles de Gaulle International Airport, Orly serves mainly domestic flights, although for some time, in the 1950s, it was the main airport in France. The French travel extensively within the country, and Orly receives almost 30 million passengers annually. It is forbidden to transport more as directed by the government, as well as to use this airport at night - to protect the inhabitants of the surrounding areas from noise.

The airport is divided into two buildings - West and South Orly, between which runs a free express train. In both terminals there is everything Paris is famous for - expensive boutiques of famous fashion brands, French pastry shops and cafes, beauty salons and music corners. The Duty Free zone offers the opportunity to buy the best cosmetics profitably and get acquainted with the latest products of popular companies, buy wine and champagne, without fear of an advantage, take home your favorite delicacies. The terminals also have first-aid posts, children's areas, travel agencies and rental car desks in the immediate vicinity of the parking on the ground floor.

The metro line to the airport building allows you to get to the center of Paris in half an hour, paying 12 euros per ticket. However, it is worth considering that some of the stations in the center are not equipped with elevators and you will have to carry the suitcase while climbing the stairs. There are buses from both terminals that also travel to the capital in about half an hour, a ticket for them costs from 7 to 13 euros. A taxi is on duty at the airport building, but a trip on it will cost 60 euros and more, given the widespread surcharges in France - for loading luggage, a seat in front, entry to the center at a certain time. When planning a visit not only to Paris, but also to the castles of the Loire, Mont-Saint-Michel, Disneyland, it is more profitable to rent a car at one of the rental car rental desks at the airport.
